DineSure is software for restaurants: guests order from a QR code on the table, and the restaurant's staff run the counter, bills and kitchen printing. This page says what we collect in each place, why, and where it is kept.
This website
- We measure how visitors use this website, such as the pages they open, what they click and how they move through a page, to improve it for restaurant owners. Anything typed into a form is never recorded.
- A random identifier in your browser tells one visit from the next. We do not ask visitors for a name, phone number or email, there are no advertising trackers, and "Do Not Track" is respected.
- "Book a demo" opens WhatsApp with a message you can read and change before you send it; after that, WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies.
- This measurement runs on this website only, never on the QR menu or the counter app.
Guests ordering from a table QR
- No app, no account and no payment details. We never ask a guest for a phone number or an email address.
- We store the order for the restaurant: the dishes, cooking notes, the table, and a name if the guest chooses to give one.
Restaurant staff
- The restaurant adds each person with a name, a mobile number and a role. Staff sign in with a one-time code sent by SMS, and an automated security check keeps bots away from the sign-in page.
- Changes a restaurant may need to check later, such as cancelled items, discounts, bills and payments, are kept in an audit trail for that restaurant.
Where it is kept
- Restaurant, order and staff data is stored with our cloud providers in Mumbai, India. Website usage data is processed by our analytics provider in the United States.
- Our technical logs are kept for a few days and never contain names, phone numbers or order details.
- We never sell data and never show ads. Each restaurant's menu, orders and bills belong to that restaurant; it can ask us for a copy, or ask us to delete them when it stops using DineSure.
